Lot: 79 Freeblown Covered Sugar Bowl, probably Baron Von Stiegel's American Flint Glass Manufactory, Manheim, Pennsylvania, 1767-1774. Cylindrical straight sided bowl with applied circular foot and matching cover, cobalt blue, sheared and tooled rim - ground pontil scar, overall ht. 7 inches, rim dia. 4 1/2 inches, base dia. 2 7/8 inches; (finial appears to have been ground to remove chip at the very tip). AGI pg. 36, #3 Brilliant color, great form.
