Lot: 44 Pattern Molded Toilet Water Bottle, 16 ribs swirled to the left, early Pittsburgh district, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1820-1840. Cylindrical, brilliant amethyst, tooled flared mouth with pattern molded stopper - pontil scar, ht. with stopper 6 3/16 inches; (end of stopper has a 3/16 inch flake). Similar in construction to PG pg. 189, #2 Very delicate and bubbly glass. Fine condition. Estimate: $500 - $1,000 Minimum bid: $250 Price Realized: $936 |
