Lot: 46 "I. Newton's / Panacea / Purifier / Of The / Blood / Norwich. VT." Medicine Bottle, probably a Stoddard glasshouse, Stoddard, New Hampshire, 1846-1860. Cylindrical with six vertical indented panels, bright yellow amber, applied sloping collared mouth with ring - pontil scar, ht. 7 1/2 inches; (potstone on the shoulder has two 1/2 inch legs, four other small potstones have minor disturbances). PME pg. 264 Attractive glass with lots of bubbles and impurities. Great color. Beautiful and rare.
