Lot: 85 "Jona / Mason. / Boston" Sealed Wine Bottle, probably England, 1820-1830. Cylindrical with applied seal, deep olive amber, applied sloping collared mouth with ring - pontil scar, ht. 12 7/8 inches, base dia. 4 1/4 inches. Similar in form to McK plate 221, #9 Jonathan Mason, 1756-1831, was a senator and representative from the state of Massachusetts for the years 1800-1803 in the Federalist Party.
