Lot: 84 Fancy Cologne Bottle, probably Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-1860. Modified corseted form, palmette and scrolled acanthus decoration, brilliant sapphire blue, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 5 1/2 inches. Similar to MW color plate X, #2 Retains original label which reads "Triple / Extrait / Eau / De / Cologne". Beautiful, fancy, rare. Ex Dr. Gary and Arlette Johnson collection.
