Lot: 191 Antique Pinchbeck Paperweight, England or France, 1845-1855. Cylindrical, colorless with gold decoration, cylindrical tin base, dia. 3 1/4 inches, ht. 1 3/4 inches; (light surface scratches). Made from an alloy of copper and zinc which was invented by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London watchmaker. He did not make the weight though. Generally fine condition.
