Lot: 27 Freeblown And Blown Molded Oil Lamp, possibly Thomas Cains' Glass Manufactory, Boston, Massachusetts, 1822-1852. Cylindrical, two piece construction with Eye and Scale base attached to freeblown cylindrical font by wafer, colorless, threaded brass collar and burners - pontil scar, ht. with burners 11 1/4 inches. Similar in form and construction to B/K #2070 Attractive and early form which is unlike the Boston & Sandwich and French examples. Fine condition.
