Lot: 166 Antique Boston And Sandwich Poinsettia Paperweight, Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1852-1888. Cylindrical with slightly concave base, blue and green flower on pink jasper ground, polished pontil scar, dia. 2 5/8 inches, ht. 1 5/8 inches; (two internal fractures across flower, flaw in petal, surface blemishes). Beautiful decoration with a general lack of wear. Property of The Strong, sold to benefit the museum's collections fund.
