Lot: 187 Cut Glass Inkwell, England, 1840-1860. Teakettle form, colorless, polished mouth with sterling silver hinged cover - cut 24 pointed star base, ht. 2 1/4 inches, greatest dia. 3 inches; (5/8 inch chip from base edge). Similar in form and construction to C #1271 Cover is marked ".G. Riddle Maker London". Beautiful glass clarity and cut waffle pattern.
