Lot: 1 Freeblown Utility Jar, probably England, 1815-1830. Cylindrical, brilliant yellow green with opaque turquoise bloom which is most evident in the shoulders, tooled flared mouth - pontil scar with four raised "feet" on the base edge, ht. 7 3/8 inches, dia. 6 inches; (light exterior high point wear). Glass of a similar color is noted in AG on pg. 89, left An exquisitely colored jar that almost glows in direct sunlight. Fine condition.
