Lot: 138 Two "G.W. Merchant / Lockport. N.Y." Medicine Bottles, probably Lockport Glass Works, Lockport, New York, 1840-1870. Rectangular with beveled corners, shades of aquamarine, applied sloping collared mouths - smooth base and tubular pontil scar, ht. 5 1/4 inches and 5 1/2 inches; (shorter smooth based example has minor pinpoint flakes on edge of mouth and base). AAM pg. 350 Taller pontiled example is in fine condition with attractive whittle and varying thickness of glass. Timothy and Christine Hill collection.
