Lot: 113 "F" Soda Water Bottle, America, 1840-1860. Flattened torpedo form, medium aventurine, applied sloping collared mouth - tubular pontil scar, ht. 8 inches; (light exterior wear, large interior bubble in base has lost its cover glass, 1/4 inch flake from lower edge of mouth). An attractive string of foamy bubbles winds its way around the bottle. Rare and unusual. Generally fine condition. Estimate: $300 - $600 Minimum bid: $150 Price Realized: $585 |
