Lot: 70 Two Stiegel Type Engraved Glass Items, decanter and large flip glass, possibly America, 1820-1840. Decanter is bulbous with three molded neck rings, flip glass is cylindrical flaring to rim, colorless, tooled flared mouth with period stopper and tooled rim - polished pontil scar and pontil scar, ht. 11 inches and 7 7/8 inches. McK plate 48, #3, Type 23 stopper and McK plate 22, #2 Decanter is marked "1812" - "S". Both have attractive floral decorations. The flip glass is the exact item pictured in American Glass.
