Lot: 70 "E. Roome / Troy / New York" Snuff Bottle, America, 1840-1860. Rectangular with beveled corners, yellow olive, tooled flared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 4 1/4 inches. Similar in form and construction to MW plate 75, #15 Possibly an earlier example as the embossing is cruder than most. Crisp and clean. Fine condition. Dr. Charles and Jane Aprill collection.
