Lot: 147 Figural Whiskey Bottle, America, 1860-1880. In the form of a cannon barrel, deep olive amber, applied sloping collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 12 7/8 inches; (1/8 inch flake from edge of mouth, moderate exterior wear and scratches, 1/4 inch open surface bubble near one mold seam). Similar in form and construction to H color plate XIV, #2521 Similar to the Gayen Altona cannon without embossing. A scarce form with attractive glass crudeness. Generally fine condition.
