Lot: 182 Snuff Bottle, a Stoddard glasshouse, Stoddard, New Hampshire, 1846-1860. Rectangular tombstone form with concave corners, bright golden olive amber, tooled flared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 6 inches; (light exterior high point wear). Similar to L/P plate 12, row 3, #2 and #4 This rare item was fashioned from the "tombstone" medicine bottle mold and usually has some form of applied mouth. Fine condition.
