Lot: 157 Two Figural Ink Bottles, America, 1870-1890. Square schoolhouse forms, aquamarine and colorless, tooled square collared mouths - smooth bases, ht. 2 5/16 inches and 2 3/8 inches; (larger example has a 1/8 inch flake on edge of roof and has been professionally cleaned). C #688 and similar to C #688 The smaller colorless example is not listed in Covill's text. Generally fine condition.
