Lot: 94 "Dr. Petzold's / Genuine / German / Bitters. / Incpt. 1862 / Patd 1887" Bitters Bottle, America, 1887-1900. Oval strap sided form with twenty horizontal ribs, medium yellowish amber, applied sloping collared mouth with ring - smooth base, ht. 10 1/8 inches. Similar to R/H #P-78.5 A rare mold with a different rib count than listed, having 20 as opposed to 21. Retains 99% original label. Shoulder embossing also differs from the listed variant. Fine condition.
