Lot: 21 "Dr. Stephen Jewett's / Celebrated Health / Restoring Bitters / Rindge, N H." Bitters Bottle, a Stoddard glasshouse, Stoddard, New Hampshire, 1846-1860. Rectangular with wide beveled corners, brilliant golden amber, applied square collared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 7 1/4 inches; (top edge of mouth has been polished, two pinpoint flakes on edge of mouth). R/H #J-37 A desireable early bitters bottle with bold embossing, wear free panels and a beautiful bright color. Generally fine condition.
