Lot: 265 Freeblown Globular Bottle, New England, 1783-1830. Bulbous form, medium yellowish golden amber, applied round collared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 10 1/2 inches, greatest dia. 8 1/8 inches; (3/8 inch open surface bubble near the wear ring at the base). Similar in form and construction to MW color plate III, top left A unique example with various sized bubbles and strings of glass winding around the bottle. Generally fine condition.
