Lot 13: Fancy Cologne Bottle, probably Mt. Vernon Glass Works, Vernon, New York, 1820-1844. Rectangular, yellow olive, crudely applied sloping collared mouth-pontil scar, ht. 7 ½ inches, wd. 3 1/2 inches.( Manufacturer’s rough mold seam at neck , as shown in view 6 ). A finely crafted bottle created of earthy colored bottle glass tones. Delicate neoclassical design, form, and with mystique. Rare. Fine condition. Dr. Gary and Arlette Johnson collection.
