Lot 33: “General Washington.” And Bust-Eagle Portrait Flask, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1820-1840. Blue green, sheared mouth-pontil scar, pint. GI-1. ½ inch narrow partially open bubble at shoulder/neck done during manufacture. Good color for this mold. Strong embossing. Bubble blends with embossing to almost be attractive in its setting.
